About Liz

I’m Liz Gilliland, founder of the MOVEMENT.

I’ve been teaching movement in Long Beach since 1994, with a background rooted in dance, strength training, and somatic practice. My approach is shaped by personal experience and years of study in how the body holds pattern, stress, and strength.

Through somatic practices, I help people make friends with their bodies.
