Studio Policies
At the MOVEMENT, our goal is to create a supportive, respectful, and well-held environment for everyone who moves through the studio. The following policies help ensure clarity, fairness, and smooth operations for both students and teachers.
Cancellation & Attendance
Group Classes
Because classes at the MOVEMENT are intentionally small, late cancellations and no-shows impact access for others.
Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours before the scheduled class time.
Late cancellations (within 6 hours) are subject to a $10 fee.
No-shows will be charged the full class rate or deducted from your membership if applicable.
For unlimited members, repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in temporary booking limitations, such as reduced advance booking access.
Private Sessions
Private sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee.
Scheduling
Group classes must be booked at least 1 hour in advance.
Private sessions and discovery calls must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
All scheduling and cancellations are managed through our online booking system.
Memberships
All memberships are billed monthly and operate on a month-to-month basis.
Memberships may be canceled at any time.
Once canceled, access remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Membership fees are non-refundable and do not prorate.
Membership benefits, pricing, and offerings may be updated periodically. Any changes will be communicated in advance.
Private Sessions & Programs
All Foundation Series sessions must be used within the 4-week timeframe.
The Foundation Series is non-refundable once started.
For the 12-Week Private Program sessions are typically scheduled 2x per week, though frequency may be adjusted by mutual agreement.
The program fee is non-refundable once the program has begun.
Single private sessions are available only after completion of the Foundation Series.
Refund Policy
All purchases are final.
Refunds are not issued for classes, memberships, private sessions, or unused services.
Studio Etiquette & Safety
Please arrive on time to respect the flow of class.
Hands-on assists are only offered with explicit verbal and physical consent.
Movement is always optional. You are encouraged to modify, pause, or rest as needed.
If you have injuries, health conditions, or concerns, please communicate with your teacher before class.
